Queer Drawing
The GAG Group were invited to the DRAW Space Artists talks of their latest Group Show QUEER DRAWING. The exhibition, which contemplates the profound connection between drawing and queerness, presents drawings by 20 queer and ally-identifying artists, each drawing a window into the lived experience of queerness in all its diversity. Queerness is revealed in lines, shadows, and mark-making.
QUEETR DRAWING was curated by queer drawing artist Jeremy Smith, who talked about his own works in the show and introduced the folliwng artists who talk about their works: Kim Leutwyler, Liz Bradshaw, Keroshin Govender, Tango Conway, Gareth Ernst, Luke Thurgate, Andrew Nicholls, and Michael Simms. who all talked about their works and own unique personal queer world.
Jeremy then talked about all the other pieces in the show from artists: Herk Alexander, Jack Buckley, Jodi Clark, Jake Alexander Cruz, Scott Elk, Dan Gladden, Samuel Luke, Jeff McCann , Graham Robertson, Kurt Schranzer, and Yiorgos Zafiriou.
