Join the Sydney Gay Art Group to explore 4 different artists presented by the team at Maunsell Wickes. Canapes, cheese red, white, fizz and beers provided.

The 4 Artists are:

• Geoff Mitchell - whose work is a meditation on beauty, history, myth and the unconscious in which he creates fragmentary narratives in dream-like landscapes through decorated porcelain.

• Jessica Murtagh - whose practice leans heavily on illustration, using sandblasting and engraving techniques to create imagery and narratives on glass.

• Sarah Edmondson - a Sydney based artist working across a range of mediums including textiles, drawing, painting and sculpture to delves into the intricate realm of memory and neurological processes.

• William Eicholtz - a contemporary sculptor, taking figurative art from its traditional lineage then reforming and placing it firmly in current artistic dialogue. Evoking classic themes, his sensual sculptures rejoice in metaphor and the physical, with a particular focus on the male nude.
